‘ICT Olympiad Bangladesh’ will unveil shortly
To popularize ICT education, the 'ICT Olympiad Bangladesh' is going to start. Its registration process will be opened on July 28.
On the same day, the official website of ‘ICT Olympiad Bangladesh’ will also be unveiled.
The Olympiad authorities informed this information in a circular on Wednesday (July 27).
Apart from this, on the occasion of the Olympiad, a colorful youth-oriented program has also been organized at the Krishibid Institute complex in Dhaka.
The notification informed that the total prize money of this competition is 50 lakh taka.
Monir Hossain, a member of the governing body of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh, said that it will be held among students in a total of six categories to popularize ICT education from pre-school to university (age 35).
Another member of the governing body Mohammad Shahriar Khan said, “This competition is being organized to make our students prepared in a timely manner for the fourth industrial revolution. Hundreds of thousands of students from schools-colleges-universities across the country will participate in this competition organized by Creative IT Institute and Whistle.”
According to the notice, registration booths of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh will be available in every remote area of the country so that even the grass-root level students of the country can be enlightened with the knowledge of ICT. All the information of this program can be known through the website. Students can learn about ICT skill through skilled mentors up to five months after registration.
The organizers said that the ‘ICT Olympiad Bangladesh’ is going to be organized keeping in mind that the students of Bangladesh will advance through the world-class knowledge in the ICT sector.
